Mina Shirakawa departing Stardom, to join AEW in April

Mina Shirakawa has announced during a press conference that she is leaving Stardom and will be joining AEW full time.

Shirakawa’s contract will finish by the end of this month but will continue wrestling for Stardom throughout April, fulfilling any obligations left. Her last dates will be at the Stardom American Dream event in Las Vegas during WrestleMania week.

The 37-year-old Japanese star has made multiple appearances for AEW since last year and was involved in the Toni Storm/Mariah May angle as well. Her last match in AEW was at the Dynamite Winter Is Coming episode in December of last year, losing to Mariah May in an AEW Women’s title match.
