Linda McMahon Senate debate and vote set for tomorrow

The Congress.gov website lists that Linda McMahon’s Senate debate and vote will take place tomorrow, February 14, although no time was listed. She is expected to get the green light and sworn in as the Administrator of the Small Business Administration later in the day.

Linda McMahon underwent a two hour grilling by the Small Business Entrepreneurship Committee on January 24 and her nomination was approved a week later with 18 votes in favor and 1 against.

The only “no” vote came from Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey. Booker was the one who during the hearing said that Triple H, who was in attendance, was “letting himself slip” and offered to take him to the Senate gym afterward for some “triple help” in getting back in shape.

McMahon was introduced for her hearing by Democratic Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy, the two men she lost to in the U.S. Senate campaigns in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
