Jeff Cobb returns to New Japan Pro-Wrestling after short WWE stint

Jeff Cobb, the artist formerly known as JC Mateo in WWE, returned to New Japan Pro-Wrestling yesterday during the G1 Climax event.

The former member of The MFTs is back using his name and is now part of the Unbound Corp faction ran by Gedo.

Cobb made his WWE debut at Backlash last year, aligning with Solo Sikoa and his group but his stint did not last long as the former WWE Tag Team title holder was released from the company along with fellow MFT member Tonga Loa after WrestleMania 42.

The 44-year-old had worked for NJPW for over seven years prior to joining WWE.
