Janel Grant’s legal team amends lawsuit against McMahon, Laurinaitis, and WWE

Janel Grant’s legal team amended their lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE yesterday on the exact deadline date they were given by the court.

The 104-page lawsuit includes several new text messages, voice mail transcripts, and publicly names other WWE officials which were only identified as “Corporate officers” before.

WWE President Nick Khan and former WWE executive Brad Blum are now listed as Corporate Officer No. 1 and Corporate Officer No. 2. Brock Lesnar is also publicly named for the first time in the lawsuit even though his involvement listed as the “former UFC champion” was well known before.

The lawsuit also revealed that an office for Grant was constructed which shared a wall with Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s office and had an internal door which could be accessed by John Laurinaitis. It says that both Nick Khan and Brad Blum were involved in planning this office.

“Ms. Grant’s amended complaint reveals new details that further demonstrate the sexual abuse Janel Grant suffered at the hands of Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis and pulls back the curtain on the dangerous workplace culture McMahon created at WWE,” said Ann Callis who serves as Janel Grant’s lead attorney. “Ms. Grant looks forward to holding her abusers accountable in a court of law.”

Jessica Rosenberg, who heads Vince McMahon’s legal team, also chimed in saying, “As expected, the proposed amended complaint is nothing more than the latest publicity stunt in an ongoing smear campaign. It is filled with desperate falsehoods from a team that continues to disregard the law and the truth.”
