In anticipation of his UFC debut, FOX Sports will be airing a four-part documentary on CM Punk’s road to the Octagon titled Evolution of Punk.

The series has been in production for over a year as cameras followed Punk throughout his journey to become a UFC fighter. It’s directed by Rory Karpf, who is also working on the Ric Flair special for ESPN’s 30 For 30 series.

Evolution of Punk will kick off on Monday, August 15 and the last episode will air on September 10, the day of UFC 203. Punk will fight Mickey Gall and the fight is placed the third from the top.
