Do you smell what The Rock is cooking? Well, Disney certainly does as Variety is reporting that the popular movie studio has signed Dwayne Johnson to star in an untitled movie based around it’s Jungle Cruise theme park attraction.

Both Tom Hanks and Tim Allen were each attached to star in the movie at some point but Disney is now banking on Johnson to make this a home run. Plot details are unknown at this time. John Requa and Glenn Ficarra are doing the screenplay while John Davis and John Fox of Davis Entertainment will produce.

This will be Johnson’s second movie for Disney, with the first one, Moana, in production right now. He will be lending his voice for this animated movie and Johnson received a massive ovation at the D23 Expo last week when he was introduced with the rest of the cast.
