Cody Rhodes’ opponent for his match at the Wrestling Under The Stars event on August 26 will be TNA’s Miracle, Mike Bennett.

The match was announced yesterday by Rhodes on his Twitter and joining Bennett will be Maria while Cody’s other half, Brandi, will be in his corner. The event is promoted by Northeast Wrestling and will take place at the Wahconah Park in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The next day Rhodes will take on Kurt Angle in a match for the same promotion which will be held at the Dutchess Stadium in Wappingers Falls, New York.

But before all this, Rhodes will make his debut for EVOLVE on August 19, the same day that his no-compete clause with WWE expires. EVOLVE currently enjoys a good relationship with WWE so it will be interesting how Rhodes will be booked for this event.
