Bobby Heenan in hospital for the next few days

WWE Hall of Famer Bobby “The Brain” Heenan is currently in hospital after falling at home. The news was originally reported by his long-time friend Mean Gene Okerlund on Twitter yesterday.

Heenan’s wife Cynthia wrote that the legendary manager will stay in hospital for the next 72 hours due to low blood pressure and thanked all the fans for their support. Due to his hospitalization, Heenan will not be appearing at the planned SuperFriendsFanFest.com event in Milwaukee this Saturday.

The 71 year old Bobby had both throat and tongue cancers and is not able to speak. He looks completely different from his wrestling days due to reconstructive surgery on his jaw. Two years ago he fell and broke his hip just months after breaking his shoulder.

His last public appearance was at the Cauliflower Alley Club last month.
