Tony Khan interested in running a big show when WrestleMania heads to Saudi Arabia

During a call with the media yesterday ahead of All Out, AEW President Tony Khan expressed his interest in running a big show in Spring of 2027 to make up for WWE heading to Saudi Arabia for WrestleMania.

With WWE taking its show to Saudi, it’s unlikely any of the indie promotions or fan conventions that take place around WrestleMania will follow them come 2027.

Fans have now turned to AEW to hold a big stadium show in the United States during the same time where other indie shows and conventions can take place, replacing WrestleMania.

Khan said he was “very interested” in the idea and mentioned that they will have something big for Spring of that year, mentioning Revolution, although it’s unclear if he meant Revolution would be that show or another show added to the calendar specifically during the Mania timeframe.
