Samoa Joe has returned to AEW and made his presence felt during the Tailgate Brawl portion of All Out.

In the build-up to All Out, Jack Perry was calling Joe out to face him and after he beat Katsuyori Shibata in the pre-show, Perry once again called out Joe.

The Opps members Hook, Anthony Bowens, and Action Andretti came out, followed by Joe who received a nice welcome from the Chicago crowd.

Perry offered to shake hands with the former AEW World champion but after Joe refused, Perry persisted, only to get shoved in the face for his trouble.

Joe had been missing from AEW television since the Double or Nothing pay-per-view back in May and his absence was due to filming of the new season of Twisted Metal, which airs on Peacock. Joe portrays the character of the killer clown Sweet Tooth.
