Former Impact X Division champion Rohit Raju wrestled during the AEW Dark television tapings yesterday at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Raju, who had his contract run out at the end of last year, wrestled Captain Shawn Dean during the tapings. That was his only appearance on the show and did not feature again during the tapings.

The 41-year-old announced on January 3 that he is now a free agent. The Michigan native, who has been working for Impact since 2017, was part of the Desi Hit Squad until he went solo competing in the X Division. He won the title in August 2020 on the first night of Emergence and lost it a few months later to Manik in December.
