Red Velvet regains the ROH Women’s TV tile from Mercedes Mone

Red Velvet had the biggest win of her career last night at the ROH Final Battle event, beating Mercedes Mone to regain the ROH Women’s TV title with a clean pinfall.

The win ends Mone’s 49-day reign with the title, 32 of which were as the interim champion. She unified the belts on the November 19 episode of Collision from Boston.

Velvet was the second ROH Women’s TV champion and kept it for 481 days. She unfortunately suffered an injury and an interim champ had to be crowned at the Supercard of Honor in July, a title which Mina Shirakawa won.

Mone is now down to 12 title belts after she failed to win the AEW Women’s title at the Full Gear pay-per-view last month.

This was only Mone’s third loss since joining AEW.
