NJPW announces its own version of Forbidden Door with AEW in Japan

New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced its own version of the Forbidden Door show with Wrestle Dynasty which will take place on January 5, 2025, the night after Wrestle Kingdom.

The show will held at the Tokyo Dome and will feature NJPW, AEW, ROH, STARDOM, and CMLL.

AEW President Tony Khan has always said that Forbidden Door would not take place in Japan as this was an AEW show but was open to the idea of doing something similar for NJPW in Japan in the future.

Last year, New Year Dash!! was held the night after Wrestle Kingdom.

The announcement was made yesterday during the Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
