New TNT champion bringing back the Cope Open

Adam Copeland is bringing back the Cope Open, and challenged anyone to step up for a title shot.

The new TNT champion, who won the title this past Wednesday on Dynamite from Christian Cage, said in a backstage promo that it’s time for him now to face different faces now that the chapter with Cage is over.

“If you think you deserve a shot, fine, step up,” Copeland said. “Cope Open is back, if anybody wants to step up, feel free, there’s more at stake now too, the TNT championship.”

This essentially means that the recently brought-back rankings are dead once again, at least when it comes to the TNT title.
