MJF has been cast in the Netflix movie Happy Gilmore 2, starring Adam Sandler.

The exclusive story, published by Deadline, says that his role is still a secret and so is the plot of the movie. Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald will return to the cast and Travis Kelce is expected to do a cameo.

MJF made his acting debut in The Iron Claw and just recently finished filming the independent comedy The Floaters along with Seth Green and Aya Cash.

The former AEW champion has been off television since All Out earlier this month and his last match was defeating Daniel Garcia.
