Kenny Omega wins the AEW World title at Dynamite Beach Break

Kenny Omega is once again the AEW World champion after he defeated MJF last night on the Beach Break episode of Dynamite.

Third time was the charm for Omega, who suffered two previous defeats at the hands of MJF in the past and this time around, he could not afford another loss as the stipulation was that he could never challenge for the AEW World title again if he was not victorious.

The match, which had the interference of Will Ospreay who prevented MJF from using the Dynamite Diamond Ring, ended when Omega hit three V-Triggers and a One Winged Angel for the pin.

The result means that at All In, Omega will defend the title against Will Ospreay in a match that has been rumored for quite some time, so the finish was not a surprise.

MJF’s third reign has come to an end after just 45 days after he won the title back from Darby Allin at Double or Nothing.
