Mercedes Mone will be defending her CMLL Women’s title on October 17 during the weekly CMLL television show against Persephone.

This will be the first CMLL Women’s title defense since Fantastica Mania on June 20 where Mone successfully defeated La Catalina to retain it. She won the title two days prior against Zeuxis during the Dynamite Grand Slam: Mexico event.

The CMLL Women’s title is one of nine belts that Mone has. She has only been defending the TBS title since June.

Persephone was involved in a four-way match for the TBS title at the AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view in August along with Alex Windsor and Bozilla, a match which Mone won.
