Mercedes Mone last night defended one of her many indie titles in Italy, successfully retaining the BestYa Wrestling Women’s title at a show in Rome, Italy.

Mone had some help from her boyfriend Beast Mortos, who made it easier for her to win the match after he speared her opponent, Queen Maya, before she tapped out to Mone’s finisher.

With the show in Rome where football, or soccer for Americans, is huge, Mone also visited the Roma women’s team and posed with a photo with the whole group. She was given a football shirt bearing her name.

Mone currently is in possession of 12 titles from around the world and is going for #13 later this week.
