Kenny Omega wins the AEW International title at Revolution

Kenny Omega is once again a champion after he defeated Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International title last night at Revolution in a hard-hitting match.

This was only Omega’s fourth match since coming back after 13 months out following a severe bout with diverticulitis, with his four matches totaling a whopping 93 minutes in the ring.

Omega’s win ends Takeshita’s 148-day reign as champion, a title he won from Will Ospreay at WrestleDream.

This match was the conclusion of the AEW International Championship Series, a mini tournament which started with Orange Cassidy defeating Roderick Strong to earn a title shot, only to lose to Takeshita the following week.
