Jimmy Jacobs joins AEW as producer

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling is reporting that AEW has hired Jimmy Jacobs as a producer and he was at yesterday’s Dynamite in Washington, DC.

Prior to joining AEW, Jacobs worked for Impact Wrestling as part of their creative team for the past five years and before that he also held the same position for WWE, a stint which lasted two years.

Jacobs was eventually fired from WWE after he took – and posted – photos with The Bullet Club when they ran a parody invasion of Raw. The parody invasion, which also involved Cody Rhodes, led to WWE sending a cease and desist letter to The Young Bucks for their continued use of the “Too Sweet” hand gesture.
