Jim Ross undergoes cancer surgery on his hip

AEW commentator Jim Ross revealed in a post on social media that he underwent cancer surgery on his right hip yesterday morning.

“All went well. Thanks for all your love & support,” Ross wrote.

The WWE Hall of Famer had some battles with cancer over the past few years after he was diagnosed with skin cancer in October 2021.

Ross, whose contract with AEW expires on February 14, is looking to get his deal extended so he could call Sting’s retirement match at Revolution next month.
