Jay White was taken out of the Owen Hart Cup tournament and during Dynamite, AEW commentator Excalibur explained that White was taken out by The Death Riders and was no longer in condition to compete.

While there was never any footage shown of the attack, the reason why they went this route is because White has an undisclosed injury and according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, he needs to undergo surgery.

No other news was relayed on how long White will be out for or how bad the situation is. AEW typically does not disclose injuries of its stars.
