“Hangman” Adam Page enters the Owen Hart Cup tournament

The second person to throw in their name for this year’s Owen Hart Cup tournament is former AEW World champion “Hangman” Adam Page.

Page announced his intention to participate in the tournament last night on Dynamite in a backstage promo.

AEW has not yet officially announced the tournament or when it’s starting, although usually this happens in July. The two winners of the tournament – one man and one woman – will get a title shot at All In.

This year’s All In: Texas, is taking place earlier than the previous two years with a July 12 date rather than late August. This means that the Owen Hart Cup tournament will have to start earlier as well, most likely in late May or early June.
