Technical issues forced Collision off the air 30 minutes early on both the East and West Coast feeds, with, ironically enough, Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam movie kicking off at 9:30PM instead of its later original time slot after the conclusion of Collision.
The Max feed also cut off at the same time, preventing fans from watching the last 30 minutes of the show on the streaming service.
“Due to technical difficulties, AEW Collision is not airing tonight,” a crawler on TNT said while Black Adam was airing in Collision’s time slot. “Please check allelitewrestling.com for wrestling updates.”
AEW President Tony Khan blamed it on ongoing transmission issues and they were expecting that the West Coast feed would have the full show. Unfortunately, by the time 9:30PM PT came, Collision was also booted off the air just like the East Coast feed.
Collision was not live as it was taped on Wednesday night after Dynamite.
“We will get the full show up on @StreamOnMax asap, and I’m very sorry for this hassle,” Khan wrote.
