Bobby Fish departs AEW, now a free agent

Multiple insiders reported today that Bobby Fish has finished up with AEW and his contract ran out yesterday.

Fish is one of those whose contract was not renewed by the company and effectively ends the reDRagon team with Kyle O’Reilly.

The former NXT Tag Team title holder arrived in AEW in October of last year and then joined his former Undisputed Era leader Adam Cole. The two were eventually joined by another former UE member, Kyle O’Reilly.

Fish has not been used much lately and the injury to Adam Cole didn’t help things. He has not wrestled since July on an episode of Dark Elevation and last appeared on TV on August 3.

He is one of the many former NXT talent who were signed to AEW after getting cut from WWE in 2021.
