Bobby Fish challenges new TNT champion Sammy Guevara for title match next week

There’s a new TNT champion with the name of Sammy Guevara and just minutes after winning the title, he already has a challenger…someone who is not even signed to the promotion.

Former NXT Tag Team title holder Bobby Fish tweeted that he would like to congratulate Sammy on his TNT title win and be the first one to challenge him for the gold. “Ready to walk through the forbidden door,” Fish said.

Guevara acknowledged the tweet and accepted the challenge from the recently-released NXT star. The match will be taking place next week from Philadelphia.

Guevara dethroned Miro for the TNT title in the main event of last night’s Dynamite, bring an end to Miro’s 140-day reign as champion. His reign is currently second on the longest list, trailing that of Darby Allin’s which stands at 186 days.
