Kota Ibushi returns on Collision

Kota Ibushi made a surprise return on AEW television last night during Collision and had a face off, and brawl, with Kazuchika Okada.

The Japanese star is a former tag team partner of Kenny Omega, who happened to be wrestling Okada at All In. Ibushi and Omega were known as the Golden Lovers in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Ibushi has not appeared on AEW television since November 2023 when he teamed up with Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, and Paul Wight to take on Brian Cage, Kyle Fletcher, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Konosuke Takeshita in an eight-man tag match.

He will return to the ring for AEW next week and this will be his first match since February after suffering an injury.
