NXT Heritage Cup vacated as Noam Dar suffers injury

Noam Dar, the NXT Heritage Cup holder, is injured and has been forced to vacate the trophy.

The news was announced by NXT General Manager Ava via a post on social media just days before Dar was set to defend it against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo on NXT on CW.

“Due to injury, Noam Dar will not be able to compete this Tuesday and will have to relinquish the NXT Heritage Cup Championship,” Ava wrote.

A new champion will be determined on Tuesday as Stacks will take on an opponent still to be named, with the winner getting the trophy.

Dar won the NXT Heritage Cup on the show following Stand & Deliver in Las Vegas.
