Mina Shirakawa earns AEW Women’s title shot after winning eliminator match

Mina Shirakawa earned an AEW Women’s title match at the upcoming Double or Nothing pay-per-view after she won an eliminator match last night on the Beach Break episode of Dynamite.

Shirikawa defeated champion Toni Storm, the returning Skye Blue, and the NJPW Strong Women’s champion AZM in a four-way match to punch her ticket to the show.

This will be a rematch from the Forbidden Door 2024 pay-per-view, where Storm already defeated Shirakawa.

In a related note, Shirakwa entered to a new theme song which AEW fans did not like and complained online about it. AEW President Tony Khan took note of the complaints and reinstated her original theme song after she won the match!
