Brian Christopher held on life support until his dad Jerry made it to hospital

Brian Christopher Lawler was kept on life support in hospital until his father Jerry made it to his bedside as he flew in from another state where he was working.

Brian was pronounced brain dead at the hospital after he arrived from jail where he hung himself in his cell. Family members had decided to pull the plug as there was no way back for Brian but let his dad Jerry say his final goodbye while machines kept him alive. He had been arrested for the past three weeks after he got pulled over for a DUI and trying to evade the police.

“WWE is saddened to learn that Brian Christopher Lawler, who is best known in WWE as Too Cool’s Grandmaster Sexay, has passed away. Lawler, who is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, competed during the height of the Attitude Era. WWE extends its condolences to Lawler’s family, friends and fans,” read a statement on WWE.COM.

Triple H also expressed his incredible sadness about the news. “A tragic loss of life. Both @StephMcMahon and I are thinking of Jerry Lawler and the entire Lawler family this evening.”
