Zack Ryder suffered a knee injury last night during the Main Event television tapings in a match against Mike Kanellis.

Ryder posted on Instagram saying that while the roster will be flying to Saudi Arabia, he will be flying to Orlando to get an MRI. Ryder was featured in the advert for the Greatest Royal Rumble so obviously WWE now has an open spot to fill.

The former Intercontinental champion was out of action for six months last year after he suffered a knee injury in December 2016, forcing his team of The Hype Bros to surrender their #1 contender’s spot for the Smackdown Tag Team titles after they won a battle royal.
