Yeah! WWE and LA Knight in new five-year deal

PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE and LA Knight have agreed on a new, five-year deal which will see him stay in WWE for the foreseeable future.

The website says that the deal is about to or has already been signed, with the company keen on locking down one of their hottest acts at the moment.

With “Yeah!” chants everywhere, Knight is getting major pops at every arena he goes to and his merchandise has topped WWE Shop in sales.

The LA Knight character has been a major turnaround for the man portraying the gimmick after last year he was brought up to the main roster from NXT and forced to switch to a different persona, Max Dupri, heading up the Maximum Male Models.

The 40-year-old switched back to his NXT gimmick LA Night at the end of September of last year.
