WWE World Heavyweight title match set up for Raw on Netflix one year anniversary show

A WWE World Heavyweight title match has been set for the January 5, 2026 Raw which is the first anniversary of Raw on Netflix.

CM Punk, who is not cleared to compete at the moment after WarGames, will defend his title against the man who pinned him at WarGames, Bron Breakker.

Breakker cut an awesome promo on Raw, saying he thought he had to dig in and really be at his very best to beat Punk but he managed to do it easily at WarGames. He called Punk a “soft son of a bitch,” a comment which made both Logan Paul and Paul Heyman break character and burst out laughing before turning all serious again.

Breakker reminded Punk of that time backstage at WrestleMania, where Punk congratulated him on his success, but asked him if he could cut a promo with the big dogs.

The former NXT champion told Punk to consider that promo cut and on January 5, he will show the world that he is the real best in the world.

Punk also main evented the first Raw on Netflix against Seth Rollins.

This show will take place from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, where ticket sales have been shockingly low with less than 5,000 tickets moved in an arena where they usually turn up big time for WWE.
