WWE Women’s World title match announced for Wrestlepalooza

A new WWE Women’s World champion will be crowned at the upcoming Wrestlepalooza premium live event on September 20.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced during Raw that Stephanie Vaquer will be facing former champion Iyo Sky for the vacant title. Both women will be on Raw next week to sign the contract.

The title was relinquished by Naomi a few weeks ago after she made the announcement that she was pregnant. Naomi was supposed to face Vaquer at the Clash in Paris event but the replacement match was scrapped off the card and instead Becky Lynch defended the Women’s Intercontinental title against Nikki Bella.

Wrestlepalooza is the first WWE premium live event to stream on ESPN.
