WWE women dominate Twitter’s most mentioned sportswomen top 10 chart

In honor of Women’s Day, Twitter released a list of the ten most mentioned sportswomen on Twitter and six of them are all WWE Superstars.

Taking the number one spot was Serena Williams, followed by the Irish Lass Kicker Becky Lynch in second and another tennis player, Naomi Osaka rounded up the top three. Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Alexa Bliss were in fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh place respectively. Gymnast Simone Biles is in eighth place, South Korean figure skater Yuna Kim is in ninth, and Nia Jax wraps up the list in tenth place.

It’s no surprise that the list is dominated by WWE Superstars considering how active they are on the social media network and the amount of followers they accumulate being on television every single week.
