WWE tapes matches for 2021 Tribute to the Troops show

WWE taped three matches which will be part of the Tribute to the Troops episode this year, airing on FOX on Sunday, November 14.

After Smackdown went off the air, Big E had a match with Dolph Ziggler, Bianca Belair took on Liv Morgan, and Roman Reigns battled Shinsuke Nakamura. Arena staff handed out American flags to fans in attendance and the graphics and ring skirt were changed to reflect the Tribute show. Former ring announcer Lilian Garcia sang the national anthem.

Last year, the show was held inside the WWE ThunderDome, the first time since 2003 that such a show was held without a crowd due to COVID-19. Typically, WWE tapes the show where there are large military bases and invite hundreds of servicemen and women but this time around it was held in Ontario, California.

It will be up to local stations to determine what time Tribute to the Troops airs on FOX so different markets will have different airing times.
