WWE reaches agreement with Twitch for Superstars to return to streaming

WWE Superstars will be able to resume streaming on Twitch after an agreement was reached between WWE and Twitch according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.

Through his Select service, Sapp said that revenue from advertising from the accounts of each WWE Superstar who wishes to stream on Twitch will be split between WWE, Twitch, and whoever owns the account. Twitch will have the largest share of the ad revenue in the deal.

Sapp added that there’s only one restriction for the talent who wish to stream: those who want to bring wrestlers from any other company on their stream must seek permission from WWE first.

The total ban on third-party platforms went in effect in late 2020. Zelina Vega was at the time the only casualty of the ban and got fired for breach of contract.
