WWE President Nick Khan said that he expects wrestlers from “the other wrestling promotional company” to jump ship when they’re contractually able to.
Speaking on the Bill Simmons podcast, Khan said that they’re happy that a lot of talented wrestlers are over on the other side.
“When, contractually, they are available to talk to and have conversations with, assume a number of them will come over,” Khan said.
Asked by Simmons if signing many of them would mean that some would be “wasted” and not featured on television, Khan said that they don’t do that.
“That’s something we won’t do. We won’t sign and bench people. We sign people who we want to use.”
Khan also said that he has nothing “but respect to the father who finances it and owns the Jaguars,” referring to Shahid Khan, the father of Tony Khan.
