The last time the Royal Rumble had a change in its logo was back in 2005 and now after 11 yeas WWE has decided to give the Rumble logo a face lift and go with a completely different design.

The previous logo used more of a block type of font whereas the new logo is more, well, royal-looking.

This is the sixth Royal Rumble logo change. The first logo from 1988 was replaced in 1996. In 2000 and 2001 different logos were used and in 2002 a new one was introduced which stayed in play until 2004. In 2005 the logo the Rumble is mostly associated with made its debut and was used up until the 2015 event.

The 2016 Royal Rumble takes place at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, on January 24.
