WWE HQ closes down due to Hurricane Sandy

WWE closed its corporate headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, today as the state – and much of the east coast – is bracing for Hurricane Sandy to smash through anything in its way.

The company also has an office in New York which presumably is closed as well as the city that never sleeps is on the way to be deserted.

RAW and Smackdown superstars are set to go on a European tour after the television tapings and with this weather it will be a tricky touch-and-go as airports are also closed. The tour starts on Wednesday for the RAW brand and Thursday for the Smackdown brand so the crew might have to be moved to an operational airport if the planned point of departure will be closed.
