WWE goes live on Netflix

WWE’s biggest distribution deal ever kicked in today as WWE officially started on Netflix.

In the United States, the move officially starts on January 6 with Raw although some content is already online, but internationally, WWE content can already be watched on the service. Also, apart from Raw, NXT, Smackdown and all premium live events will be airing on the service in countries around the world.

All WWE content on Netflix is part of your current Netflix subscription plan and there are no more additional costs to watch WWE.

Netflix members in the United States will not be able to watch NXT, Smackdown, and premium live events as those remain part of Peacock, at least until 2026.

Netflix has already started to roll out select WWE archived content but more will be uploaded over time. Not the whole WWE Network is moving to Netflix worldwide, so there will be a lot of items missing. Older Raw content will be available for streaming in the United States and worldwide.

Episodes of Raw, Smackdown, and NXT will be available to watch immediately after the live stream ends and so will premium live events. WWE programming can be downloaded around 48 hours after it streams on Netflix.

Netflix currently has around 282.7 million subscribers worldwide, 67 million of which reside in the United States. The U.S. count is a bit lower than the availability of USA Network in homes in the United States which stands at around 70 million.
