The WWE website has confirmed that NXT champion Finn Balor has suffered an ankle injury during last night’s NXT non-televised live event in Nashville, Tennessee, and will be unable to compete in tonight’s NXT show in Indianapolis, Indiana.

WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann said that Balor will be undergoing further evaluation on Monday to determine the extent of his injury.

NXT has 3 more dates on the road this month apart from the usual shows in Florida and his participation at these special shows remains to be seen.
