WWE Classics on Demand to stop on January 31, 2014

WWE Classics on Demand will cease transmitting on January 31, 2014, according to a tweet sent yesterday by the official WWE Classics account.

The WWE Classics on Demand video service features content from WWE, WCW, ECW, AWA, Jim Crockett Promotions, Smokey Mountain Wrestling, Championship Wrestling from Florida, Stampede Wrestling, and WCCW.

The end of the service fuels more rumors about the start of the WWE Network, which would eventually air all the content that Classics on Demand previously aired.

The subscription video on demand television service started in November 2004 and aired only on digital cable as well as online.
