WWE announces some matches for upcoming Japan tour

Some interesting matches were announced yesterday during the Japan airing of Smackdown on ABEMA for the upcoming two-day WWE tour in Tokyo.

The company will be traveling to the Land of the Rising Sun in less than a month for two back-to-back shows at the Ryogoku Sumo Hall, with both shows being non-televised events.

Announced for October 17 are Giulia vs Iyo Sky vs Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match for the WWE United States Women’s title, Seth Rollins vs CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight title, and Shinsuke Nakamura and Jey Uso vs Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

The following night has Giulia vs Kairi Sane for the WWE United States Women’s title, Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, and Shinsuke Nakamura, CM Punk, and Jey Uso vs Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed in a six-man tag team match.

Tickets for both shows are available at eplus.jp starting from ¥7,000 all the way to ¥120,000, the equivalent of $45 to $800.
