WWE adds eighth broadcast partner with the addition of Rumble for its weekly TV shows

Yesterday’s announcement of WWE Main Event moving to streaming service Rumble means that WWE has an unprecedented eight partners in the United States when it comes to their media rights, the most they ever had.

Out of the eight partners, four are actually free and require no subscriptions. The CW (NXT), Tubi (EVOLVE), YouTube (Vault and AAA), and Rumble (Main Event) are free to use.

Netflix (Raw), USA Network (Smackdown), Peacock (Saturday Night’s Main Event), and ESPN (PLEs) all are behind a paywall, although ESPN now is mostly free for those who already have a cable subscription which includes USA Network.

WWE is also in negotiations to bring AAA television to the United States, with a deal rumored to be announced sometime in 2027.

This is similar to what the NFL does as well, spreading their games on multiple outlets, in this case CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC, ESPN, Prime Video, Netflix, and NFL Network.
