WWE has published the opening video for tonight’s Wrestlepalooza on their social media properties, a video narrated by Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
The video contains a mix of old footage from WWE and ESPN going through the last few decades, with footage and iconic moments also from other sports which aired on ESPN along the years.
It ends with Triple H walking in front of several monitors showing different sports, saying, “Sports is entertainment. Always has been. Always will be,” before he walks off and the camera focuses on the middle screen with the Wrestlepalooza logo.
ESPN went full-on with their WWE coverage both on television as well as on their main ESPN.COM website.
Wrestlepalooza kicks off a five-year $1.6 billion deal between WWE and ESPN for 10 premium live events every year.
