WrestleMania 40: Behind the Curtain documentary delayed

The planned WWE documentary WrestleMania 40: Behind the Curtain was not released yesterday as advertised and instead will be released “soon.”

PWInsider.com is reporting that the reason for the delay is because WWE filmed so much footage during WrestleMania weekend and some of it has to go in the documentary as well.

The documentary was not complete, with the final chapter still in the works by the time WrestleMania went off the air. It was hoped that it would be ready by Wednesday but there was an overwhelming amount of footage to comb through and edit.

WWE still plan on releasing the documentary on YouTube as soon as it is completed.
