Women’s Intercontinental title match added to Clash in Italy

The WWE Women’s Intercontinental title will be defended at next week’s Clash in Italy premium live event.

Last night on Saturday Night’s Main Event, Becky Lynch caused a disqualification after she threw referee Jessika Carr in the path of the Sol Snatcher, continuing her feud with the female ref in the process.

Carr called for the bell after she came back to her senses, disqualifying Lynch for her actions and then Lynch proceeded to destroy Ruca.

In a backstage segment following the match, Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis informed Lynch the Raw GM Adam Pearce told him to relay the message that due to her actions, she will now defend the title against the former NXT star next weekend in Turin.

This is the fourth confirmed match for the show and all of them are for the title. Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi is supposed to be confirmed on Raw tomorrow.
