The women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament final tomorrow at NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day has higher stakes and winning the trophy is not the only thing on the table.

Whoever wins the tournament tomorrow – either Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzales or Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon – will also be receiving a WWE Women’s Tag Team title shot in the future. The WWE Women’s Tag Team titles are defended across Raw, Smackdown, and NXT, although NXT always gets the short end of the stick for obvious reasons.

The belts have been defended against NXT tag teams before, most recently when Sasha Banks and Bayley were champions and they were defended on NXT on USA.
