Wendy Choo wins the WWE Evolve Women’s title

Wendy Choo won the WWE Evolve Women’s title on last night’s episode, getting her first title in WWE after seven years with the company.

Choo pinned Nikkita Lyons in an eight-woman gauntlet match to win the vacant title, a match which also involved Kali Armstrong, Karmen Petrovic, Laynie Luck, PJ Vasa, Sloane Jacobs, and Tyra Mae Steele.

The title was vacant because the previous champion, Kendal Gray, moved to NXT.

Choo has been with WWE since 2019, portraying the characters of Karen Q and Mei Ying. Her appearances have been limited to NXT and TNA and has been working with Evolve for around a year as well.
